Tibia—Computer-Assisted High Tibia Osteotomy (HTO)

The osteotomy software has the advantage of being an intraoperative, digital measuring instrument for a dynamic overview of the leg axis. The software also enables the position of the osteotomy to be planned and the cut to be navigated.

Pelvis - Sacroiliac joint - Computer Assisted Screw Fixation

BrainLAB‘s Trauma 2.5 software offers navigated screw placement in the sacrum on 2D fluoroscopic images. The BrainLAB Fluoro-3D Trauma 2.0 software offers navigation within the 3D datasets provided by dedicated 3D fluoroscopes. In the first part of the presentation we introduce navigated SI screw fixation on 2D C-arm images. In the second part of this presentation we will show navigation in 3D datasets with the 3D navigation software.

Femur - Shaft fracture - Computer Assisted Nail Fixation

BrainLAB‘s Trauma 2.5 software offers navigation on 2D fluoroscopic images for antegrade or retrograde intramedullary nailing of the femur. When navigating a femoral nailing, the workflow follows the traditional procedure in most of its steps. Navigation does require some additional steps within the common procedure. However, navigation not only adds value in helping to find entry points or trajectories for screws on the bone and to keep incisions smaller but it also offers intraoperative axis
