Call for Applications: AOTrauma Middle East Research Grants

AOTrauma Middle East is proud to announce the call for applications in four research areas, with the aim to foster innovative research projects in the Middle East region.

AOTrauma Middle East (AOTME) is offering stand-alone research grant funding of up to CHF 8,000 per research grant. This funding is designed to encourage individual researchers and research groups in the Middle East to take on innovative research projects in the following fields: 

  • Bone Infection
  • Patient Outcome
  • Fragility Fracture Management
  • Trauma

 

 

Deadline for 2017 AOTME Research Grants application: September 24, 2017.

The decisions will be communicated end-October 2017. 

AOTrauma Research offers regular funding opportunities for applied research that supports clinical issues. Grants are available for research that meets AOTrauma’s pre-determined criteria.

Who can apply for an AOTME Research Grant?

Individual clinicians/researchers and research groups in the Middle East region: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Pakistan, State of Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, and Yemen.

What do you need to know?

  • All applications will be peer reviewed by the AOTME Research Committee.
  • Please note that we can only approve a limited number of studies (up to two) due to limited financial resources.
